4.5 Indoor temperature sensor in the base unit
The indoor temperature shows on the third line of the LCD display. icon on the
left, represents the temperature on the built-in sensor, and also shows the local
humidity reading on the right of the
icon .
4.6 Remote temperature and humidity alarm setting
The remote temperature and humidity alarms are only linked to the remote sensor on
Channel 1. There is no alarm option available on Channel 2, 3 or built-in sensors.
Temperature and humidity alarm setting
1. Press [ HI/LO ] at the back of main unit (please refer to section 1.5 Installation
- Connecting the base unit) to enter the remote temperature and humidity alarm
setting mode.
2. The sequence of pressing [ HI/LO ] key for alarm setting is: High Temperature
Alarm, High Humidity Alarm, Low Temperature Alarm and Low Humidity Alarm
as follows
3. Press [
] at the back of the main unit to increment the setting values by 1
C
or 1.8
F and 1 % of humidity, or press and hold [
] at the back of the unit for
speed setting values by 5
C and 5% of the humidity.
4. The alarm will be enabled after setting the values of each item.
5. Pressing [ ON/OFF ALARM ] key at the back of the main unit to toggle between
enable/disable for each item.
6. During the temperature and humidity alarm, sound is emitted. Press the
[ CHANNEL ] to stop the alarm .
To remove the temperature and humidity alarm setting
1. Press [ HI/LO ] to select the value you want to remove
2. Press [ ON/OFF ALARM ] to remove the information
3. Press [ CHANNEL ] to confirm and return to standby mode
The remote temperature and humidity alarm will be emitted when the values of the
remote sensor in channel 1 received are out of range. The value will flash with “HI”
or
“LO” to indicate which alarm setting has been reached and beeping tone will last for
1 minute.
