Braking Current
When a motor is stopped suddenly, a large half-wave rectified
current flows through the motor for approximately 0.2 to 0.4
seconds. When connecting a circuit breaker, fuse or transformer,
refer to the table below for the braking current (peak value) and
select its current capacity.
