Added Additional Mode Support for Link Aggregation
Link Aggregation now has six supported modes.
The administrator can choose the most
suitable mode to fit the network environment.
You may choose from the following options:
z Disable
z Load Balance
z Failover
z Balance-XOR
z 802.3ad
z Balance-TLB
z Balance-ALB

Additional LAN Card support (N7700PRO and N7700+ Only)
With the system reserved PCI-e slot, you can install a supported third-party LAN
card for a 3
rd
or 4
th
LAN port (the maximum supported ports is 2). Below is a list of
currently supported LAN cards:
z Intel Ethernet Server Adaptor X-520 DA2 10G NIC
z Intel Ethernet Server Adaptor X-520 SR1/SR2 10G NIC
z Intel Gigabit EF Dual Port Server Adaptor 82576GB 1G NIC
z Tehuti ENW-9800 10G NIC
After you have installed a supported NIC into the system, you will see the setting
item appear under “System Network” named “Additional LAN1” and “Additional
LAN2” accordingly. The default IP addresses will be “192.168.4.254” and
“192.168.5.254”.
Below as an example with an Intel 2-port 10G NIC has installed into the system.
Note that the link detection and speed information is displayed.
Error Corrections
The description of the schedule settings for the snapshot has changed as below to
avoid confusion.
Original:
The snapshot schedule rules can be setup for monthly, weekly or daily hour.
Clicking on Apply after firmed with desired schedule
