10.BATTERY REPLACEMENT
DO NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY
DO NOT THROW IN FIRE
DO NOT EXPOSE TO TEMPERATURE OVER 90°C
DO NOT SHORT CIRCUIT
Batteries included in these beacons are non-hazardous for transport regulations.
CAUTION: Many states have regulations in place requiring some form of battery recycling. Please refer to
your local authorities before disposal.
10.1. Battery pack removal
(1) Using a standard cross head screwdriver, fully unscrew the housing of battery pack located at the lower part
of the beacon.
(2) Remove the housing.
(3) Disconnect the battery pack by lifting up the locking strap of the connector.
10.2. Battery pack reassembly
(1) Replace the O-ring of the housing then connect the new battery pack to the connector located in the bottom of
the housing.
(2) Insert the battery pack into the housing of the beacon taking care not to pinch the wires.
(3) Reassemble and screw the housing of the battery pack
(4) Note the new expiration date (date of replacement + 7 years) in the field «Lithium battery Expiration date»
located on the beacon.
