Rub a film of cooking or salad oil all over the non-stick coating on the inside of the pan. Remove any excess oil with a cloth or paper towel. The Electric Skillet is now ready for use and it is unnecessary to condition it again.
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be used with caution. Blend thoroughly. Preheat skillet at 250°F, uncovered. Melt butter or margarine, then pour in egg mixture. As eggs begin to set, gently lift cooked portion with spatula, allowing the uncooked portion to flow underneath. Continue cooking until all of egg mixture has set, about 5 to 7 minutes.

Put eggs, onion, salt, flour, baking powder and 1/2 cup potato cubes into Blender. 2. Cover and process at Grate until potatoes are grated. Add remaining potatoes, cover and process at Chop only until potato cubes have been processed. Do not over-blend. Use a rubber spatula to guide potatoes to blades. 3. SLOPPY JOES Makes 6-8 Servings 3 lbs. hamburger 3 lbs. beef (boiled. or 1 quart chunk canned beef 1-1/2 cup catsup 1 onion, chopped 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 cans chicken broth soup salt and pepper to taste 1. Preheat skillet to 300°F. 2. Brown hamburger and onion; drain. Boil beef until tender and break into bits. Combine beef and hamburger and add other ingredients. 3. Simmer for 45-60 minutes. A PPE TIZERS STUFFED MUSHROOMS Makes 8 Servings 8 medium mushrooms 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce 1/4 cup salad oil 1/4 tsp. crushed thyme 2 Tbsp. minced onion 1/4 cup sherry 1/2 cup bread crumbs 1. Carefully twist off stems from mushroom caps, leaving caps intact. 2. Chop enough stems to make 2 Tbsp. chopped mushrooms. 3. Preheat Electric Skillet to 300°F. 4. Heat 2 Tbsp. of the oil in skillet. Add onion and mushroom stems and sauté gently until onion is tender. Add bread crumbs, Tabasco, thyme, and mix well.

LEMON QUICK CHICKEN Makes 4 to 6 Servings 3 whole chicken breasts 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1 chicken bouillon cube 1 Tbsp. flour 1 whole lemon, thinly sliced 1/2 tsp. tarragon 1) Cut each breast in half and cut each half into 10 or 12 strips. 2. Preheat Electric Skillet to 380°F. Melt butter. 3. Add chicken pieces, sprinkle with flour, tarragon and salt. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. 4. Combine 3/4 cup hot water and bouillon cube. Pour over chicken. Add lemon slices.
SHRIMP SCAMPI Makes 4 Servings 1/3 cup cooking oiI 1 pound shrimp, shelled and de-veined 2 Tbsp. chopped celery 1/2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper 1 Tbsp. chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1 Tbsp. snipped parsley 2 Tbsp. lemon juice 1/3 cup tomato paste 1/2 tsp. salt 1. Heat oil in Electric Skillet to 280°F. 2. Add shrimp, celery, green pepper, onion and garlic. Sauté, turning often until shrimp are just pink. Turn heat to Simmer. 3. Add 1/3 cup water and remaining ingredients and mix well. 4.
D ESSERT CHERRY DELIGHT Makes 6-8 Servings 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine 2/3 cup cinnamon candies 2 cans (16 oz. each) red tart, 3 Tbsp. cornstarch pitted cherries, undrained 6 inches of refrigerated sugar cookie dough 1. Preheat skillet to 275°F. Melt butter in hot skillet. 2. Stir in cherries, cinnamon candies and cornstarch. 3. Cook until it reaches a thick consistency and candy has melted; stir constantly. 4. Lower the temperature to 250°F. 5. Drop cookie dough on top of cherries by spoonfuls.
SAVORY BAKED APPLES Makes 6 to 8 Servings 6 to 8 apples, cored 1/4 cup raisins 1/4 cup chopped nuts 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon 1 cup water 1. Remove 1 inch peel around top of each cored apple. Place apples in skillet. 2. Fill each center with raisin and nut mixture and dot with butter or margarine. INTRODUCCIÓN ACONDICIONAMIENTO DEL SARTÉN CON RECUBRIMIENTO ANTIADHERENTE Antes de usar su nuevo aparato, lave el interior del Sartén con agua tibia y jabonosa, seque el Sartén. Unte una ligera capa de aceite para cocinar o para ensalada, en la superficie antiadherente de la parte interior del Sartén. Remueva cualquier exceso de aceite con un paño o una toalla de papel. El Sartén Eléctrico está ahora listo para usarse y no será necesario acondicionarlo nuevamente.
Un cable eléctrico corto se provee para reducir riesgos resultantes de enredarse o tropezar con un cordón largo. Un cable de extensión puede usarse con cuidado. Si el cable de extensión es usado, la potencia eléctrica marcada en el cable de extensión, debe ser por lo menos igual o mayor a la potencia eléctrica del aparato. El cable de extensión debe colocarse de manera que no cuelgue del mostrador o de la mesa, donde pueda ser jalado por niños o donde puede tropezarse con él accidentalmente.

R ECETAS DESAYUNO HUEVOS REVUELTOS FÁCILES Prepara 2 -3 Porciones 4 huevos grandes 2 Cu. de mantequilla o margarina 4 cu. de leche Sal y pimienta al gusto 1. Combine los huevos, la leche la sal y la pimienta en un tazón mediano. Mezcle muy bien. 2. Caliente previamente el Sartén Eléctrico a una temperatura de 250°F/121°C, quitando la tapa. 3. PICADILLO DE RES Prepara 3 Porciones 4 T. de carne de res cocida 1/2 T. de cebolla picada en trozos pequeños 2 T. de papas cocidas en trozos Sal y pimienta al gusto pequeños 1. Caliente previamente el Sartén Eléctrico a una temperatura de 350°F/176°C. 2. Combine todos los ingredientes en un tazón grande. 3. Vierta la mezcla dentro del Sartén y cocine aproximadamente durante 45 minutos hasta que todo esté dorado. NOTA: Si está demasiado seco, puede agregarse consomé de res durante la cocción.
A LMUERZO TORTAS DE PAPA Prepara 6 Porciones 2 huevos 1/2 cebolla pequeña 1 cu. de sal 2 Cu. de harina 1/4 de cu. de polvo para hornear 3 T. de papas crudas, cortadas en cuadritos 1. POLLO AL LIMÓN Prepara 4 a 6 Porciones 3 pechugas enteras de pollo 1/2 cu. de sal 1/4 de taza de mantequilla o margarina 1 cubo de consomé de pollo 1 Cu. de harina 1 limón entero, finamente rebanado 1/2 cu. de estragón 1. Corte las pechugas de pollo en mitades y corte cada mitad en 10 ó 12 tiras. 2. Caliente previamente el Sartén Eléctrico a una temperatura de 380°F/193°C. Derrita la mantequilla. 3. (454 gr.) de apio picado 1/2 Cu. de pimiento verde picado 1 Cu. de cebolla picada 1 diente de ajo molido 2 Cu. de jugo de limón 1/3 de Cu. de pasta de jitomate 1/2 Cu. de sal 1. POSTRES DELICIA DE CEREZA Prepara 6 a 8 Porciones 2 Cu. de mantequilla o margarina 2/3 de taza de dulces de canela 2 latas de 16 oz. (448 gr.) cada una 3 Cu. de maicena de cerezas rojas sin hueso, 6 pulgadas (15 cm.) de maza sin drenar refrigerada para prepara galletas de azúcar 1. Caliente previamente el Sartén Eléctrico a una temperatura de 275°F/135°C. Derrita la mantequilla en el sartén caliente. 2. Agregue las cerezas, los dulces de canela y la maicena, revuelva. 3.
DELICIOSAS MANZANAS HORNEADAS Prepara 6 a 8 Porciones 6 a 8 manzanas sin el corazón 1/4 de taza de pasas 1/4 de taza de nueces picadas 3 Cu. de mantequilla o margarina 1 taza de azúcar morena 1/2 Cu. de canela 1 taza de agua 1.
