Screw terminals for connection
of metering system only
DC Current Shunt,
typically 500 amp/50
millivolt
8/32” screws used for
TBB connection
FW-SBUS (two displayed)
Torque the shunt
bolts to 15 foot
pounds (180 inch-
pounds or 20.4 Nm).
3/8” - 16 X 3/8”
Shunt Bus Bolt
Lock Washer
Flat Washer
Battery Cable Lugs
For proper contact, it is critical that no washers be placed between the battery cable lugs or be-
tween them and the FW-SBUS. The order should be as shown (starting from the bottom: lugs,  at
washer, and lock washer, secured to the FW-SBUS with a shunt bus bolt.
