3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Dust explosion may occur in the presence of sparks, flames or static discharges. Provide an antistatic environment!

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
General advice : Remove all contaminated clothing. Obtain medial attention if in doubt or if ill effects occur.
Inhalation : Normally no vapors are developed. In case hot vapors are inhaled, remove patient to fresh air, apply artificial
respiration if needed, call a doctor.
Skin contact : Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing.
Eye contact : Flush out with clean water or suitable eye wash solution for at least 10 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Ingestion : Do not induce vomiting. If patient vomits, put into recovery position. Seek medical attention.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Extinguishing media : CO 2 , foam, dry powder, water or waterspray may be ineffective
Special risks : CO could be formed and formaldehyde can be set free during combustion. Danger of dust explosion.
Protective equipment : Wear breathing apparatus. In case of fire, water spray may be used to prevent overheating of closed
containers.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
General : Remove all sources of ignition to avoid dust explosions.
Personal precautions : Avoid inhalation of concentrated vapours/smoke/dust.
Environmental precautions : Do not allow to enter drains or watercourses.
Methods for cleaning : Scoop into suitable container for disposal. Avoid contact with molten resin to avoid skin burns.

Handling : Avoid accumulation of dust. Do not eat, drink or smoke during handling. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
Storage : Store in a cool and dry area; In closed areas or containers formaldehyde concentration of 0,05 ppm can be reached.
Keep away from sources of ignition and high temperatures.
