Before connecting the kettle to a power source, check whether
the voltage indicated on the bottom of the kettle and the base
unit correspond with the mains voltage in your home.
This kettle is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety.
Keep the kettle out of reach of children. Do not leave children
unsupervised with the kettle.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or
after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in

The kettle should always be used on a dry, even surface.

Do not touch hot surfaces or hot water. Use handles. Care must
be taken since burns can occur from touching hot parts or from
spilled hot liquid.
Do not overfill the kettle. Refer to the maximum level indicator.
Make sure the lid is secure before switching on the kettle.
Do not open the lid while the kettle is boiling.
Do not operate near explosive and/or flammable fumes. Do not
operate or place any part of this kettle on or near gas, an
electric burner or in a heated oven.
Do not immerse the kettle, plug or cord in water, or allow any
liquid to come into contact with any part of the kettle.
To disconnect, grip the plug and pull from wall outlet. Never pull
on the cord.
