Aluminum
and Vinyl Garage Door Bottom
Weatherstrip is designed to
help keep your garage clean and
more comfortable by forming a
weathertight seal to help protect
against drafts, dust, moisture,
debris and insects all season long.
A low temperature vinyl seal
closes gaps up to ¾ " at the
bottom of garage door and
stays  exible to -30°F. The vinyl
seal insert is held in place with
a sturdy aluminum extrusion
fastened to the bottom of the
garage door with included screws.
Recommended for both wood
and metal garage doors.
Comes in two sizes: 9' for a single
car garage and 18' for a two car
garage.

Recommended Tools
1. Safety Glasses
2. Measuring tape
3. Hacksaw or jigsaw with blade
for cutting aluminum
4. Drill and ¼" driver bit or hex
head socket wrench/hex driver
5. Scissors or cutting knife
6. Pencil
Installation Instructions
• Remove old seal from
garage door.
• Measure underside of garage
door and cut aluminum base
and vinyl seal to correct length.
• Center the aluminum base on
the garage door bottom and
fasten into position with self-
drilling screws.
• Slide vinyl seal into
aluminum channels.
• Trim to length.
• Crimp Aluminum channel
to hold seal in place.
• Added Note: For garage doors
with guide rails: Slide one edge
of vinyl into position before
fastening aluminum base. Once
fastened, insert inside  ange of
opposite rubber edge, and push
outside  ange into channel with
screwdriver. Begin at either end
of aluminum base.
