Limited Three-Year Warranty
Mineral Fiber Insulation
1. Thermafiber, Inc., subject to conditions and limitations herein stated, warrants its Thermafiber
®
Mineral Fiber Insulation
to be free from defects in materials, manufacture of design for a period of three (3) years following date of installation. This
warranty is extended to and may be enforced by the customer for whom the insulation is installed, the installation
contractor installing the insulation or the insulation supplier. It is not transferable.
2. Thermafiber, Inc. at its election will repair or replace in kind defective Thermafiber Mineral Fiber Insulation during the
warranty period up to a maximum liability equal to the material cost of the original purchase. Subsequent to the first year
following the date of installation, Thermafiber, Inc. shall not be liable for labor or other costs in connection with removal
of installation except to the extent that the Company may elect to repair, rather than replace, defective Thermafiber
Mineral Fiber Insulation.
3. Thermafiber, Inc. shall not be liable for damage to Thermafiber Mineral Fiber Insulation caused by improper use or
installation other than in accordance with currently available application specifications, or for damage occasioned by
alteration after completion of installation by structural modifications or equipment additions. Thermafiber, Inc. disclaims
liability for damage arising by reason of cyclone, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, fire, flood or other like phenomena, or
resulting from the influence of adjacent materials, or the impact of foreign objects.
4. Nothing in this warranty shall render Thermafiber, Inc. in any respect liable for incidental and consequential damages
including damage to buildings in which Thermafiber mineral fiber insulation is installed, or to the interior thereof, or to
any other property [or for any injuries or damages sustained by any persons whomsoever]. (Some states do not
allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not
apply to you.)
5. This warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other express warranties guarantees, obligations or promises. Any implied
warranties are limited to the term hereof. (Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts,
so the above limitation may not apply to you.) No representative of Thermafiber, Inc. or any other person has any authority
whatsoever to assume for Thermafiber, Inc. any other liability or responsibility in connection with Thermafiber mineral
fiber insulation described herein.
6. Thermafiber, Inc. reserves the right to discontinue or modify Thermafiber Mineral Fiber Insulation without notice, and
shall not be made liable as a result thereof.
7. Claims hereunder shall be made by the giving of written notice by registered mail to the installation contractor or
directly to Thermafiber, Inc. at 3711 Mill Street, Wabash, IN 46992, Attention: Quality Department, within thirty (30)
days immediately following the discovery of any defect covered by this warranty. Such notice shall include evidence of
date of purchase and installation to permit Thermafiber, Inc. an opportunity to investigate material claimed defective.
8. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from State to State.
