Flame Spread 25
Fiberglas
insulation is a light
density,  exible batt, with a
factory applied facing that has an
assured low  ame spread. The
product is available in R-values
ranging from 11 to 30. The FSK
(foil-scrim-kraft) and light-
re ective white PSK
(polypropylene-scrim-kraft)
facings act as vapor retarders, and
provide a neat,  nished
appearance.
Uses
Flame Spread 25 insulation can be
used in walls, ceilings and  oors
where the insulation will be left
exposed, or where a low  ame
spread vapor retarder is required.
The product is also useful for
concealed applications in
noncombustible constructions.
Flame Spread 25 insulation is
designed to be installed in
between wood and metal
framing, or attached to surfaces
with impaling pins.
Features and Bene ts
Meets Building Code
Requirements
Because of its low surface burning
characteristics, Flame Spread 25
insulation meets building code
requirements for exposed
applications. The product can be
applied to building surfaces
without the need for a separate
nish or covering.
Excellent Thermal Performance
With the range of R-values
available, Flame Spread 25
insulation can meet most thermal
speci cations with ease in
between framing or for special
applications.
Easy Installation
The product is easy to install and
fabricate. Flame Spread 25
insulation is designed with  anges
for easy installation in framing
applications. Flame Spread 25
insulation is available in convenient
widths for wood and metal frame
construction.

What you should know
about R-Values
The chart shows the R-value
of this insulation. R means
resistance to heat  ow.
The higher the R-value, the
greater the insulating power.
Compare insulation R-values
before you buy.
There are other factors to
consider. The amount of
insulation you need depends
mainly on the climate, the type
and size of your home, and
your fuel use patterns and
family size. If you buy too
much insulation, it will cost you
more than youll save on fuel.
To get the marked R-value, it
is essential that this insulation
be installed properly.
