CAUTION: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS THROUGHLY BEFORE INSTALLATION
NOTE: This kit WZJS designed to fit the original O.E.M. ·y· pipe and converter or equivalent O.E.M.
replacement parts in their original factory location. If your vehicle's exhaust has been
modified. PaceSetter Exhaust Products will not assume responsibility for fit or performance.
1. Disconnect the vehicle's battery. Raise vehicle and support on jacks or ramps that have suitable capacity for the weight of
vehicle. Support rear of vehicle under body to allow rear axle to hang down. WARNING: NEVER GO UNDER A VEHICLE
SUPPORTED ONLY BY ITS SERVICE JACK.
2. Move entire exhaust system from vehicle, starting from the rear of the vehicle forward to rear of catalytic converter.
3. Install your TFX Performance Kat-Back System per illustration starting at the rear of the catalytic converter to the back of the
vehicles.
4. Check alignment and location of muffler and all pipes. Check the clearance of your TFX system to the floor pan, chassis
components, parking brake cable assembly, driveshaft..etc. Adjust system as needed.
5. Start the vehicle and listen for exhaust leaks at the pipe connections. If a leak is detected, tighten flanges and/or clamps as
needed.
6. Test drive the vehicle, listening for any sounds that would indicate that the TFX Performance Kat-Back System might be
touching the chassis, body or etc. Make needed adjustments. Some exhaust leaks are not heard until vehicle is in motion under
a load. It is important that all leaks are corrected.
NOTE: Check and re-tighten all fasteners and clamps after a few days of operation and thereafter on a periodic basis.
Exhaust gases contains deadly carbon monoxide. It is important that all exhaust leaks are corrected immediately.
