FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS

HELPFUL HINTS BEFORE STARTING
• Place door in a flm :evel position off the floor end allow
i! 10 occlimore to room rempercture for at least 24 hours
before finIshing.
• Remove the hinge pins and carefully place the door
on a padded or protected surface.
• Finish in a dos-hee area. Do not finish in direct sunlight.
• Remove I-ordwore and mask off a')y gloss.
• Follow point or stain monulocrurers instructions.
• VVear safefy glosses for eye protection, and wear rubber
gloves to prevent soiling the door with oil from your hands.
• 8e sure to use quaiily point and primer or stein ond wood
sealer. Be sure the paint or stein is compatible with the
primer or wood seeler.
• Finisr ell six sides of door to maintain warranty.
• vvhen appiying more than one coat of finish, follow paint
manufacturer's instructions for time between coots.
