FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS

HELPFUL HINTS BEFORE
STARTING
Place door in a flm :evel position off the floor end allow
i! 10 occlimore to room rempercture for at least 24 hours
before finIshing.
Remove the hinge pins and carefully place the door
on a padded or protected surface.
Finish in a dos-hee area. Do not finish in direct sunlight.
Remove I-ordwore and mask off a')y gloss.
Follow point or stain monulocrurers instructions.
VVear safefy glosses for eye protection, and wear rubber
gloves to prevent soiling the door with oil from your hands.
8e sure to use quaiily point and primer or stein ond wood
sealer. Be sure the paint or stein is compatible with the
primer or wood seeler.
Finisr ell six sides of door to maintain warranty.
vvhen appiying more than one coat of finish, follow paint
manufacturer's instructions for time between coots.
