4. Remove the screws from the hinges, 2 on each side.

5. Lift out the LCD assembly.
Top Cover
To remove the top cover, remove the hard disk drive (see Hard Disk Drive
), remove the optical disk drive
(see Optical Disk Drive
), remove the keyboard (see Keyboard), remove the LCD assembly (see LCD
Assembly), and then perform the following steps:
1. Carefully disconnect the speaker cable connector.
