To make weather tight satellite or cable TV “F” cables: Step 1 - Strip cable. Strip .25” through shield braid & dielectric to the center conductor. Step 2 - Prep the cable and make cable assembly. Step 3 - Terminate connector onto cable. Flare the shield braid back from the dielectric.

Strip .25” through shield braid & dielectric (white, foam core) to the center conductor. See Figure 1. Desforrar 6 mm (0.25 pulgadas) a través de la malla de blindaje y el dielétrico, hasta el conductor central. 2. Strip another .25” back without piercing the shield braid. See Figure 2. Note: Some strippers perform 2-level strip in one step.
