Managing your messages
The status icons that appear next to each message in the Inbox and Outbox folders
indicate the following:
• A text message. Urgent messages appear with a red exclamation point (!).
• A chat session.
• A voicemail or numeric page.
• An incoming message with photos or videos.
• An incoming message with sound.
In list view you can rearrange the messages in any folder using the Sort command.
1. From list view, open the menus .
2. Select View, and then select Sort by Name or Sort by Date.
In list view you can delete several messages at once from any folder using the
Purge command.
1. From list view, open the menus .
2. Select Purge on the Message menu.
3. Select the Purge pick list and select an option.
4. Select OK.
Unread messages appear
in bold. Messages you’ve
read appear in plain text.
