CHAPTER
Using a phone
headset
You can connect a phone headset for
hands-free operation. If you need to use
your smartphone while driving and this is
permitted in your area, we recommend
using a phone headset or a hands-free car
kit (sold separately).
The headset button is context-sensitive, so
it performs various actions based on the
situation. You can press the headset button
to perform any of the following tasks:
• Answer an incoming call
• Respond to call waiting
• Hang up all calls
• Swap between calls if the second call is
an incoming call
• Create a conference call if the second
call is an outgoing call
TIP
You can use the headset that came with
your smartphone or compatible third-party
headsets.

The headset designed for Palm
®
Treo™
180/270/300 smartphones is not compatible
with the Treo 700wx smartphone.
