5 Do one of the following to address the
message:
If the recipient’s name and mobile
number are in your Contacts list, type
the first few letters of the first or last
name or simply enter the first initial,
followed by a space, and then the last
initial to find a name.
If the recipient’s name is in an online
address book, press Center ,
enter the name, press Menu
(right action key), and then select Find
Online. Select the name, and then
select either the phone number or the
email address. For more information,
see U
sing an online address book.
If the recipient’s name and mobile
number are not in your Contacts list,
enter the full mobile number or email
address.
6 Enter your message, or press
Menu (right action key), select
My Text, and then select a predefined
phrase you want to insert.
7 (Optional) Press Menu (right
action key) and select Spell Check.
8 (Optional) Press Menu (right
action key) and select Message
TIP
To address a message to multiple
recipients, separate the addresses with a
semicolon ( ; ). If you address a text message
to three people, you are billed for three
messages.

When addressing a message,
you can enter the first few numbers of a
contact’s mobile phone number or the
contact’s first and last initials separated by a
space.
TIP
Some symbols can’t be used in text
messages. Invalid characters are
automatically replaced by the Messaging
application.
