Quick Start

2. Press Menu .

3. Select Record, and then select one of the following:

Beam: Sends an individual record.

Beam Category: Sends all entries in the current category.

4. When the Beam Status dialog box appears, point the IR port on your smartphone directly at

the IR port of the receiving device.

5. Wait for the Beam Status dialog box to indicate that the transfer is complete before you

continue using your smartphone.

NOTE For best results, the path between the two devices must be clear of obstacles, and both devices must be

stationary. If you have difficulty beaming, shorten the distance and avoid bright sunlight.

USING EXPANSION CARDS

The expansion card slot on your smartphone enables you to insert mini-SD cards (sold

separately) to extend the storage capacity of your smartphone. For example, expansion cards can

store the following:

■ Photos ■ Games ■ Adobe

Acrobat

files

■ MP3 audio files ■ eBooks ■ Applications

■ Email attachments ■ Microsoft Office files ■ Databases
