CHAPTER 7 Managing Your Calendar
Setting an alarm

Press Calendar .
2 Enter the event you want to assign an alarm to, and then select the event
description.
3 Set the alarm:
a. Select Details.
b. Check the Alarm box.
c. Select the pick list and select
Minutes, Hours, or Days.
d. Enter how many minutes,
hours, or days before the
event you want the alarm to
sound, and then select OK.

Tip
You can customize your
alarm settings in the
Calendar Preferences
dialog box.
Did You Know?
If you set your alarms in
World Clock instead of
Calendar, you have
different alarm sound
choices. Keep in mind
that since World Clock
alarms aren’t tied to a
specific event, you won’t
see an event description
when a World Clock alarm
sounds.
Did You Know?
When you set an alarm, a
little alarm clock appears
to the right of the event
description.
