manufactured item other than a fluid or particle: (i) which is formed to a specific shape or design during manufacture; (ii) which has end use function(s)
dependent in whole or in part upon its shape or design during use; and (iii) which under normal conditions of use does not release more than very small
quantities, e.g., minute or trace amounts of a hazardous chemical (as determined under paragraph (d) of this section), and does not pose a physical hazard or
health risk…”
If broken, the instrument may release small quantities of liquid, which should be addressed using the information provided in this SDS.

doctor/physician; Do NOT induce vomiting; IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse
skin with water/shower; IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing; Call a
POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell; Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse; In case of fire:
Use CO2, dry chemical, or foam for extinction; Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed; Dispose of contents/
container to an approved waste disposal plant
