GND LIFT GROUND LIFT SWITCH As mentioned earlier, „The Junction“ PDI09 delivers a balanced fl oating signal. In some cases however, it can happen that devices, which are connected to the PDI09’s input are not grounded, for example battery- or adapter-powered effect devices. In such cases a bright humming is produced due to the fact that the input is not grounded. By switching the PDI09 to „GND“, the outputs’ ground also gets switched to the input and the interferences are diverted to mass.
