Basic Operation Power On/Off 1. Connect the TV unit to power source using power cord. 2. When the power indicator in red, the TV is in standby mode. Now press the "POWER" button on remote control or front panel to turn on the TV. The TV works normally when the power indicator is in green. 3. Switch the TV to standby mode, just press "POWER" button on the remote control or front panel. Now the indicator will be in red. 4. The power consumption is less than 1W in standby mode.
Menu Operation If you want to adjust the display settings, please follow the instruction below. Press the "MENU" and " " buttons to browse the Channel Menu, Picture Menu, Sound Menu, Time Menu, Option Menu and Lock Menu in turn. Press "OK" or " " button to enter into the submenu. Teletext Teletext is an information system broadcast by certain channels which can be consulted like a newspaper. It also offers access to subtitles for viewers with hearing problems or who are not familiar with the transmission language (cable networks, satellite channels, etc.). TEXT Press the TEXT button to activate the Teletext mode. MIX Press MIX button to view the TV program with teletext page. You can return to normal viewing by press the "MIX" button.
Troubleshooting Before calling for repair service, check the following items for possible remedies to an encountered symptom. Symptoms Check item "Ghost" or double images This may be caused by obstruction to the antenna due to high rise buildings or hills. Using a highly directional antenna may improve the picture. No power Check that the AC power cord is plugged into the mains socket. Unplug the power cord, wait for 60 seconds. Then reinsert plug into the mains socket and turn on the unit again.
Care and Maintenance Do not use in hot or cold rooms (locations) When the unit is used in rooms (locations) with low temperature, the picture may leave trails or appear slightly delayed. This is not a malfunction, and the unit will recover when the temperature returns to normal. Do not leave the unit in a hot or cold location. Also, do not leave the unit in a location exposed to direct sunlight or near a heater, as this may cause the cabinet to deform and the PDP panel to malfunction.
