Mifare Card Specification

You may purchase Mifare Card or Key fob from 3rd party. MIFARE® is the NXP

Semiconductors-owned trademark of a series of chips widely used in contactless smart

cards and proximity cards. The MIFARE® brand name covers proprietary solutions based

upon various levels of the ISO/IEC 14443 Type A 13.56 MHz contactless smart card

standard. It incorporates AES and DES/Triple-DES encryption standards, as well as an older

proprietary encryption algorithm.

Pamex Enkore supports only MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2 compatible cards/key fobs.
