To reject: press the ~ button on
Audio 20 or on the luxury multifunction
steering wheel (12 buttons).

until Reject is high-
lighted and press W.
If you accept a waiting call using the control-
ler, telephone
keypad or the luxury multifunc-
tion steering wheel (12 buttons), the previous
call is ended.
Sending DTMF tones

This function is not supported by all
mobile phones.
Answering machines
or other devices can be
controlled by DTMF tones, e.g. for remote
query functions.

During an active call, press the respective
buttons on the telephone keypad.
Each character is sent immediately.

To select a character: slide XVY or turn
cVd.

To confirm your selection: press W.
Using the telephone book
Introduction
You can store telephone numbers in the
Audio 20 phone book. To receive external
contact data,
you have the following possibil-
ities:
Bluetooth
®
telephony:

receive vCards
Convenience telephony:
R
import phone books from mobile phones
(import external data)
R
receive vCards

The imported entries are retained even
when you use another mobile phone with
Audio 20. For this reason, you should
delete the call lists before selling the vehi-
cle.
Import external data (convenience
telephone only)
You can import the phone book and vCards
from your mobile phone to the Audio 20
phone book.

Depending on the mobile phone, using
this function may result in only the phone
book entries or the phone book plus SIM
card entries being imported.

Select Add or Overwrite.
The Import procedure successful
message appears when the data has been
imported.

The Overwrite menu item can only be
selected
if
the phone book already contains
data. If you select the Add menu item and
the telephone book contains too much
data, the Memory full message will
appear.
Receiving vCards (via the Bluetooth
®
interface)
You can import vCards from external Blue-
tooth
®
-capable phones into the address
book. Please bear the following in mind:

Bluetooth

must be active on Audio 20
(Y page 26) and on the external Blue-
tooth
®
phone
(see operating instructions of
the respective mobile phone).

the external Bluetooth
®
phone must be
able to send vCards via Bluetooth
