Once Traffic Programme has been switched
on, Audio
20 selects a station that broadcasts
traffic announcements. The Traffic Pro-
gramme is retrieved from:
R
the currently selected FM station
R
an RDS station from the programme serv-
ice of the currently selected FM station
R
the RDS station with the best reception
quality
When Traffic Programme is switched on, a
traffic announcement will interrupt the audio
signal from the currently activated audio
source.

Telephone conversations and navigation
announcements are not interrupted.
A display message appears in the display in
all audio operating modes.

Briefly press B during the traffic
announcement.

switches back to the audio source
that was selected before the announce-
ment.
Any subsequent new announcements will
again interrupt the audio source.
Traffic announcements in audio CD
mode or audio AUX mode
You can also switch traffic announcements
on/off in CD mode or audio AUX mode. You
can also interrupt traffic announcements in
these modes.

In the AUX audio menu, select Traffic
announcements.
Depending
on
the previous status, the func-
tion is switched on O or off ª. If traffic
announcements are switched on, you will
see Traffic announcements
in the status
bar.
Radio text
Radio text is additional data that is transmit-
ted and
is shown in the Audio 20 display. Such
additional data could be the station name, the
name of the programme or current news. The
function is only available in the FM and DAB
radio modes.

To display the radio text: select Info in
the radio display.
If the
station supports radio text and infor-
mation is available, the system displays it.

If no additional text information is available,
the No information message appears.

To exit the menu:
select Info
in the radio
display.

button on the control-
ler.
Sub-programmes (DAB radio mode)
Notes
Some digital radio stations broadcast sub-
programmes separated by category (e.g.
music programmes, news etc.).

The sub-programme menu can only be
selected if the selected station transmits
sub-programmes.
