Activating CD mode (CD changer)

Press the e button.
The CD changer display is shown once the
system has switched over. If a disc has
been inserted, it is played back automati-
cally. If no CD is inserted, the following
message appears:

The CD changer has an integrated magazine
with six trays.

Risk of accident
Only when the vehicle is stationary should
you:

load a disc
R
eject a disc
There is a risk of being distracted from the
road and
traffic conditions if this is done while
the vehicle is in motion.

If the CD has a printed side, this must face
upwards when the CD is inserted. If neither
side is printed, the side to be played should
face downwards. The system may not be
able to play discs with copy protection.

Only insert a CD when the audio system
prompts you to do so. Only insert one CD
when prompted.

To insert a single CD into the magazine
tray: press the load/eject button.
The main
area is active. The magazine trays
are shown as circles.

To select a magazine tray: press a num-
ber button (1 – 6) on the keypad.

slide XVY or turn cVd.

Press W.

When prompted, insert a disc into the slot.
The disc is drawn into the drive.

To complete the loading process: press
the e button or the load/eject button.
The disc is played if it has been inserted
correctly and if it is a permissible type.

To fill empty magazine trays: press the
load/eject button.
The main area is active. The magazine trays
are shown as circles.

To switch to the menu bar: slide VÆ.
X
Select Fill empty slots.
X
When prompted, insert a disc into the slot.
The drive draws in the disc and switches to
the next empty magazine tray.
X
Repeat the last two steps until all trays are
loaded.
X
To complete the loading process: press
the load/eject button.
The last disc loaded is played if it has been
inserted correctly and if it is a permissible
type.

If you abort the process by pressing the
back button on the controller, the system
loads and plays the last CD you inserted.
