Audio 20 retains the saved telephone
book and business cards (vCards) even
when you use another mobile with Audio
20. The entries can be viewed without a
mobile phone. For this reason, you should
delete the telephone book before selling
the vehicle.
Importing external data (convenience
telephone only)
Contacts are phone book entries from your
mobile phone and business cards.
You
can import the phone book of your mobile
phone into the Audio 20 phone book. This
function is supported by convenience teleph-
ony and, depending on the mobile phone, by
telephony via the Bluetooth
®
interface. The
mobile phone must support the PBAP (Phone
Book Access Profile) Bluetooth
®
profile.

Depending on the mobile phone, using
this function may result in only the phone
book entries or the phone book together
with SIM card entries being imported.
The phone book entries imported from the
mobile phone are indicated by the d sym-
bol.
This function only becomes available once
the text messages have been automatically
downloaded to Audio 20 from the conven-
ience telephone. Depending on the mobile
phone, this process may take some time.

Select TelephoneQImport con‐
tactsQFrom mobile phone.

Select Add or Overwrite.
The Import procedure successful
message appears when the data has been
imported.

The Overwrite menu item can only be
selected
if the phone book already contains
data. If you select the Add menu item and
the telephone book contains too much
data, the Memory full Data could not
be imported completely message
appears.
If you select the Overwrite menu item,
then all phone book entries marked with
the d symbol are overwritten and are
therefore no longer available.
Receiving vCards (via the Bluetooth
®
interface)

You can receive business cards (vCards)
from a Bluetooth
®
telephone or a conven-
ience telephone.
Received business cards are imported to the
phone book. Please bear the following in
mind:

you cannot receive business cards from
unauthorised Bluetooth
®
devices.
R
Bluetooth
®
must be active on Audio 20
(Y page 31) and on the Bluetooth
®
phone
(see operating instructions of the respec-
tive mobile phone).
R
the Bluetooth
®
telephone supports the
"Send
vCards via Bluetooth
®
" function (see
the operating instructions of the respective
mobile phone).
R
the Bluetooth
®
telephone in the vehicle is
switched on and authorised (Y page 37).
R
the PC featuring Bluetooth
®
support is
switched on and authorised.
It may be necessary to authorise the PC via
SystemQBluetooth.

If you switch to another main function
while receiving vCards, the vCard transfer
is aborted.
