The « display changes to M.

To resume playback: select M.
The menu system is hidden.
Stop function

Show the menu system (Y page 91).

To pause playback: select ±.
The « display changes to M. The video
image is hidden.

To resume playback: select M.
Playback
continues from the point where it
was interrupted. The menu system is hid-
den.

To stop playback: select ± again while
playback is interrupted.
Playback stops and returns to the start of
the DVD; M is highlighted.

To restart playback: select M.
Playback starts from the start of the DVD.
Selecting a scene/chapter
Introduction
If the film is divided into scenes or chapters,
you can select them directly while the film is
running,
or skip forwards step-by-step. Some
DVDs do not permit this at certain points (e.g.
during the opening credits).

To skip forwards or backwards: press
the = or ; button.
or

Press the E or F button.
The navigation menu appears for about
eight seconds (Y page 90).

While the film is running, press the h
button.

Press the corresponding number button,
e.g. o.

Show the menu system (Y page 91).

Select "DVD-V" Q "DVD functions".
