Making calls

ift the handset and then dial the phone
number.
R To correct a digit, press MCLEARN.

to make the call.
R To make the call using the
speakerphone, press and hold M

for a few seconds.
R While talking, you can switch between
the receiver and the speakerphone by
pressing M
/ZN.

hen finished, press MOFFN or place the
handset on the base unit or charger.
Note:
R In step 1, you can store the dialed phone
number to the phonebook by pressing
MSAVEN.

Press MjN or MkN repeatedly while talking.
Pause (for PBX/long distance
s
ervice users)
A pause is sometimes required when making
calls using a PBX or long distance service.
When storing a calling card access number
and/or PIN in the phonebook, a pause is also
needed (page 21).
Example: If you need to dial the line access
number “9” when making outside calls with a
PBX:
1 9 a MDN (Pause)
2 Dial the phone number. a M

R A 3.5 second pause is inserted each time
MDN (Pause) is pressed.
Redialing
Making a call using the redial list
T
he redial list displays up to 20 previously
dialed phone numbers (48 digits max. each).
1 MEN (Redial/CID)
R If there is a missed call, Missed
call is displayed. To display the
redial list, press MEN (Redial/CID)
again.
2 MbN: Select the desired entry.

ou can change the redial list display order.
Most dialed (default): The most
recently called item is displayed first.
Subsequent items are displayed in order
according to how frequently they are dialed.
The number of times the item was dialed
(example:
) is also displayed.

ecent dialed: Items are displayed in
the order they were dialed.
