When loading a battery, insert the battery until the lock clicks. 3 Color tip Replacing the tip with a supplied color tip enables this product to be differentiated by color. 4 Ear pad The angle of the microphone boom and the fit feeling on ear are adjustable by rotating this ear pad.

Orange blinking : Lane A is being selected, and either the TALK or PAGE mode is activated. Green blinking : Lane B is being selected, and either the TALK or PAGE mode is activated. 9 Power indicator The indicator shows the status as follows. Green : Power is supplied and the unit is operating.
Major operating controls and their functions < Talk button [T] This button controls communications with the customer. This button’s operation differs depending on the settings of this product. For further details, refer to “Setting mode” (page 33). When you press the [T] button once, you can talk with a customer at the Lane A order post. Press the button again to end the call.
Battery loading & replacement Note pp Refer to operating instructions included with the battery and battery charger. pp Charge the battery in advance. wwLoading Insert the battery in this product as shown in the figure below. ●● Insert the battery while matching the labels on this product and the terminals of the battery. ●● Insert the battery until the lock clicks.

Operating procedures wwPreparations Prior to operating this product, confirm that the system setup for this product, Center Module, order post, and other devices has been completed. 1 Insert the battery in this product and then rotate the microphone boom to turn on the power. 2 Wear this product. English ●● When the power is turned on, the voice messages “Hello”, “Headset xx” (xx: ID number registered in the Center Module) and “Lane x” (x: Connected Lane number) are heard from the earphone.

wwVolume adjustment Select a proper sound level by pressing the [VOL] button. [VOL] button English The volume level is adjustable to any of 10 levels. When the Talk-Lock mode is preset 1 Press the [T] button. 2 Press the [T] button again. ●● A beep is heard from the earphone to confirm that communication has been established.
wwCommunications with other store personnel (PAGE) Store personnel wearing headsets and (or) the Belt Packs can communicate with each other. The sound cannot be heard at the order post. When the Page-Lock mode is preset 1 Press the [P] button. 2 Press the [P] button again. English ●● A beep is heard from the earphone to confirm that communication has been established. In this state, you can talk with a store personnel by speaking into the microphone of this product.
Operating procedures wwAlert notification When the Center Module is WX‑CC411, WX‑CC411A, WX‑CC412 or WX‑CC412A, store personnel wearing the headset and (or) the Belt Pack can send a security alert to the Center Module. 1 2 Press the [VOL] button while holding down the [S] button. ●● A beep is heard from the earphone, indicating that the transmission is complete, and a security alert is sent to the Center Module.
wwDual lane operation In dual lane operation, this product must select a lane for communication. Switching to Lane B When a connection is made to Lane A, the lane indicator is lit in orange. 1 Double-click the [S] button. Switching to Lane A When a connection is made to Lane B, the lane indicator is lit in green. 1 English ●● A voice of “Lane B” is heard from the earphone and the lane indicator is lit in green. Operating procedures wwCommunication limitations Up to 4 units of the headset and (or) the Belt Pack can be used per lane. If a 5th or subsequent unit tries to talk or page, an error beep and the voice message “Cannot Connect” are heard from the earphone, and the communication is rejected. However, talk or page communication can also be heard by units for which communication is rejected.
wwCharging Use the supplied charging attachment to charge the battery with the battery charger. The charging time is approximately 3 hours (when charged from empty to full). For details on the indicator during charging, refer to the operating instructions for the battery charger. When the charging attachment (accessory) is attached to the battery charger as shown in the figure below, insert the battery while matching the terminals.
Setting the unit wwID registration Before using this product, the unit ID must be registered in the Center Module. After the ID is registered in the Center Module, wireless communication between this product and the Center Module is enabled. 1 Set the Center Module to “ID Registration” mode. Refer to the operating instructions of the Center Module. 2 3 Rotate the microphone boom to turn off the power of this product.
Note pp If ID registration fails, an error beep and the voice message “Failed” are heard from the earphone, and the power indicator blinks red to indicate an abnormal state. If that happens, retry from step 2. 5 English When the ID registration is complete, cancel “ID Registration” mode of the Center Module. ●● When this is done, “ID Registration” of this product is cancelled and the power indicator turns green.
Setting the unit wwManager mode The manager can interrupt store personnel’s TALK or PAGE at any time by monopolizing one channel by priority. Note pp Only 1 unit of the headset and (or) the Belt Pack can be set to manager mode. Rotate the microphone boom while holding down the [S] and [T] buttons to turn on the power of this product. ●● The power indicator turns red and green alternately.
4 If manager mode setting is successful, you can hear “Manager” and the power indicator blinks green. ●● If there is a problem setting the manager mode settings, an error beep and the voice message “Failed” are heard from the earphone, and the power indicator blinks red to alert the user the abnormal state. wwAuto-Talk-Lock setup For a headset and (or) a Belt Pack where Auto-Talk-Lock is set up, it has a function to select “TALK” automatically when the vehicle detector has become active, and you can talk with the customer at the order post. One unit of the headset and (or) the Belt Pack can be set to Auto-Talk-Lock setup per lane. Note pp Complete ID Registration, to do this setting. Setting the unit 3 Press a communication button ([T] or [P] button) within the 3 seconds that the power indicator turns red and green alternately. Setting Auto-Talk-Lock for Lane A ●● When the [T] button is pressed, the Auto-Talk-Lock setting is set for Lane A. The lane indicator blinks orange and “Connecting Center Module A” can be heard from the earphone. When registration is complete, the voice message “Auto Talk Lock ON” is heard from the earphone, and the power indicator stops turning alternately.
wwCenter Module search This product searches for an accessible Center Module via the Center Module in which the ID is already registered. When an accessible Center Module is found, this product is connected to that Center Module. pp To use this function, it is necessary to register the ID in multiple Center Modules in advance. pp This setting is enabled when the Center Module model selection setting is set to WX-CC411, WX-CC411A, WX-CC412 or WX-CC412A.
Setting the unit wwDeletion of ID When the Center Module is WX-C3010, delete the ID of this product according to the following procedure. This setting is enabled when the Center Module model selection setting is set to WX-C3010. When WX-CC411, WX-CC411A, WX-CC412 or WX-CC412A is set, there is no need to delete the ID manually. Delete the ID on the Center Module. 1 2 Rotate the microphone boom to turn off the power of this product.
wwSetting mode You can set the operation settings of this product. The settings can be set in the setting mode. Item Description Sets the talk operation for when the [T] button is pressed. Page button setting Sets the page operation for when the [P] button is pressed. Voice prompt setting A voice prompt is the voice information notifying you of the state of this product that you can hear from the earphone. This switches the voice setting for outputting voice prompts.

Rotate the microphone boom while holding down the [S] and [VOL] buttons to turn on the power of this product. ●● This product starts in setting mode and a beep sound can be heard. Si un cinquième appareil ou un appareil subséquent tente de parler à un client ou de communiquer avec un membre du personnel, une tonalité d’erreur et le message vocal “Connexion impossible” sont entendus par l’écouteur et l’accès est refusé.
wwChargement Utiliser l’accessoire de chargement fourni pour charger la pile avec le chargeur de pile. Le temps de charge est d’environ 3 heures (d’une pile vide à une pile pleine). Pour plus de détails sur l’indicateur pendant la charge, se référer aux instructions d’utilisation du chargeur de pile. Lorsque l’accessoire de chargement (accessoire) est fixé au chargeur de pile comme illustré dans la figure ci-dessous, insérer la pile en alignant les bornes.
Configuration de l’appareil wwEnregistrement d’identification Avant d’utiliser ce produit, l’ID d’appareil doit être enregistré dans le module central. Une fois l’ID enregistré dans le module central, la communication sans fil entre ce produit et le module central est activée. 1 Régler le module central sur le mode “Enregistrement ID”.
