Shutting Down (power off your computer)

2 Confirm shut down

Windows 98 Windows 2000

Select [OK] after selecting [Shut down].

Windows NT

Select [Yes] after selecting [Shut down the computer?].

Your computer will power off automatically.

Windows NT

For the computer to automatically shut down after [Shut down the computer?] is

selected, Phoenix APM 2.0 for Windows NT

has to be installed. When or is

displayed on the task tray, this indicates that the program is installed.

Restarting your computer (without shutting down)

Select [OK] after selecting [Restart].

Select [Yes] after selecting [Restart the computer?].

To quickly resume computer operation after shutting down,

If you have selected “Restart in MS-DOS mode”, press Ctrl + Alt + Del to

startup Windows from the MS-DOS mode.

1 Display the shut down screen

After saving important data and closing each application, select [Shut Down] from the

[Start] menu.
