Introduction
Important Information before Use
⿠Before using the FOMA terminal, make sure that you attach the back
cover firmly after tightly closing the connector terminal cover. If there
is an
y small particles (fine fibers, hair or grains of sand) between the
co
vers and the phone, water could find its way inside the phone.
When attac
hing the bac
k cover after closing the connector terminal
cover, ensure that there is no particles or dirt on or around these
par
ts (especially the packing).
⿠Ensur
e that the connector terminal cover and back cover are closed
tightly and that none of these co
vers ar
e askew. If the covers are not
closed tightly, w
ater could find its way inside the FOMA terminal.
⿠To keep the waterproof performance, you need to replace parts
without fail once tw
o y
ears regardless whether any abnormality with
the FOMA terminal is f
ound or not. You are charged for replacement
of parts. Take your FOMA terminal to a repair counter specified by
DOCOMO
.
Opening/Closing the Connector Terminal Cover

① Hook your finger over the groove, pull out
the cover to dir
ection A, and open it as
dir
ection B.
■Closing the connector terminal cover

Align the connector terminal cover in parallel
with the FOMA terminal, and while holding its
base part firmly
, push it into place.

Ensure that no float is found with the connector
terminal cover as a whole.
Removing/Attaching the Back Cover
■Removing the back cover
⿠The back cover should be

mly closed for maintaining

aterproofness. Opening the cover

orcibly may injure your nails or
fingers.
■Attaching the back cover

Fit the claws at the upper side of the
back cover to the FOMA terminal
secur
ely (A), and fit the claws
at the left, right and bottom sides of the back cover into the
corr
esponding indentations, and push the cover into place (B).

sticker of the back cover, and ensur

that no float is found anywhere on the
