Early Warning “ Area Mail”
Receiving Area Mail
You can receive information such as about earthquake alerts
that are issued from the Japan Meteorological Agency as an
Area Mail message.
When an Area Mail message arrives, “
” lights and the
buzzer or ring tone for Area Mail sounds.
The received contents of some messages are automatically
displayed. To erase the displayed content, select “OK”.
󱾁You can receive Area Mail messages even when you are not
contracted to use i
-
mode.
󱾁You can receive Earthquake Early Warnings, Disaster/
Evacuation information or Tsunami Warnings at the
purchase.
(Tsunami Warnings are received as
Disaster/Evacuation
information.)
