Others
Pressing keys is disabled.
Make sure Dial Lock is deactivated. (See
page 36)
Make sure Keypad Lock is deactivated.

Make sure Side Key Guard is set to “OFF”.
The docomo mini UIM card is not
recognized.
Make sure you insert the docomo mini
UIM card in the correct direction. (See
page 20)
The clock does not show the correct time.
The clock may not show the correct
time when the power has been kept on
for a prolonged period of time. Check
whether “Auto time adjust” and “Auto time
difference” of “Set main time” have been
set to “Auto” and then, move to a location
with good signal reception, turn off the
power of FOMA terminal and then back
on.
Call
Cannot make a call by pressing numeric
keys.
Make sure Restrict Dialing is deactivated.
Make sure the lock for “Keypad dial” in
Original Lock is released. (See page 37)
Make sure Dial Lock is deactivated. (See
page 36)
Make sure Self Mode is deactivated.
Cannot talk.

” does not disappear even if you
move to another place.
You cannot make or receive a call, though
the radio wave conditions are not bad.)
Turn off and on the FOMA terminal, or
remove and attach/insert the battery pack
or docomo mini UIM card. (See page 20,
page 22)
Depending on the characteristics of the
radio waves, you may not be able to make
or receive a call even if the FOMA terminal
is “within service area” or “
” is
displayed for a radio wave condition. Move
to another place and redial.
Make sure the call restrictions such as
Call Rejection, Call Acceptation, etc. are
deactivated.
Depending on the radio wave congestion
state, calls and mail messages may be
congested and hard to be connected
in crowded places. In that case, the
message “Please wait” or “Please wait
for a while” is displayed and a busy tone
sounds. Move to another place or wait for
a while, and then redial.
Camera
Still images and movies shot by the
camera are blurred.
When you shoot a subject in a short
distance, set Focus mode to “Macro”.
When you shoot portraits, set Focus mode
to “FaceDetect”.
Set Stabilizer to “Auto” and then shoot.
Make sure the lens of the camera is not
fogged or stained.

Warranty
󱾁Make sure that you have received a warranty
card provided at purchase. After checking
the contents of the warranty card as well as
“Shop name and date of purchase”, keep
the warranty card in a safe place. If you
notice that necessary items of the warranty
card are not fi lled in, immediately contact
the shop where you purchased the FOMA
terminal from. The term of the warranty is
one year from the date of purchase.

When there is a problem with the FOMA
terminal
Before asking repairs, check
“Troubleshooting” in this manual or in “使
いかたガイド (Guide)” mounted on the
FOMA terminal. (“使いかたガイド (Guide)”
is available in Japanese mode only.) If the
problem remains unsolved, contact the
“Repairs” counter listed on the back page
of this manual for malfunction and consult
them.
