Introduction
Caution
■About FOMA terminal
⿠Do not wash the FOMA terminal with a
w
ashing machine or ultrasonic cleaner.
⿠Ne
ver charge the battery when it gets wet.
⿠Do not lea

minal with drops
of water remained on.

ater might enter into the inside of the

OMA terminal through the keys or hinges.
In cold distr
icts, dr
ops of water on the
FOMA terminal might fr
eeze, resulting in
malfunction.
If the FOMA terminal gets w
et, keep the
back cover attached and the connector
ter
minal cover closed, drain off the water
(see page 20), and immediately wipe off the
moistur
e remaining on the FOMA terminal
with a clean dry cloth.

k to it.
The deter
ioration of the waterproof/
dust

oof performance might result
depending on the damage.

o not soak the FOMA terminal in hot water,

If you operate the FOMA terminal with

could cause water or dust to enter the
inside of the FOMA ter
minal.
■About the connector terminal cover and
back cover
⿠Do not open or close them with glo
ves put
on hands.
Fine dirt might adhere to the contact
sur
face of the packing.
⿠Be car
eful that no fibers adhere to the
pac
king when you try to wipe off moisture
with a clean dry cloth.
⿠Do not peel the pac
king off
. Also do not
insert something pointed at the head into
the clearance of the connector ter
minal
co
ver or back cover.
The pac
king is damaged, resulting in water
or dust to enter into the FOMA ter
minal.
⿠If the pac
king for the connector terminal
co
ver or back cover is damaged or
def
ormed, replace them at a repair counter
specified b
y DOCOMO
.
⿠If the back cover is broken, replace it with
ne
w one.
Otherwise liq
uid suc
h as water enters into
the inside of the FOMA terminal thr
ough
broken portions, and an electric shock or
cor
rosion of the battery pack could result.
⿠When the FOMA ter
minal gets w
et with the
connector terminal co
ver or back cover left
open, water enters inside, and an electric
shoc
k or malfunction could be caused.
Do not use it as is, but tur
n off the po
wer,
remove the battery pack, and then take it to
a r
epair counter specified by DOCOMO.
