Voice/Videophone Calls

Press l( ) to make a videophone call.
You can set whether to regard the numbers after “:” of a phone number
as a sub-address to access the specified phones or data terminals.
The sub-address is a number assigned to identify each ISDN terminal connected to an
ISDN line. It is also used for selecting contents on “V-live”.

You can set an alarm that sounds until a voice call or videophone call is
reconnected after disconnected owing to bad radio wave conditions.

Information
Even if you set “Sub-address setting” to “ON”, “:” at the top of phone numbers and
“:” immediately after the prefix number or “186”/“184” are not regarded as
sub-address mark-off symbols.

<Reconnect Signal>
Setting Alarm for Reconnecting
Information
 The reconnectable time differs depending on the usage status and radio wave conditions.
An estimate is about 10 seconds and the call charge is applied also for that duration.
While you are disconnected, no sound is transmitted to the other party.
Both “Shikkari Talk” and “Natural Talk” make caller’s voice louder or
clearer to hear.
“Shikkari Talk” makes caller’s voice louder in accordance with
surrounding noise.
“Natural Talk” adjusts caller’s voice to have it heard in more natural tone.

Shikkari Talk . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Starts “Shikkari Talk”.

The noise sent to the other party is reduced according to the surrounding
noise during a call.

<Speech Quality>
Making Caller’s Voice Easier to Hear
Information
This function is available only to the voice heard from the earpiece.
However this might be disabled if you insert into or pull the earphone from the FOMA
terminal, or when you switch to a Bluetooth device.
If you have started “Shikkari+Natural Talk”, it might happen that you cannot switch to
the Bluetooth device.
