To our customers
Statement regarding EC-Directives no. 2011/65/EC (RoHS2) and 2000/53/EC (ELV)
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
thank you for your inquiry. Following you will find the information regarding above mentioned directives.
The 6 RoHS substances are by Company Guideline forbidden within the whole Panasonic Group.
Panasonic Electric Works is taking continuous actions in assuring the “Non-use of prohibited substances” through a
dedicated procurement policy and survey of chemicals content by analysis.
Therefore we herewith declare that all
““Electromechanical and Solid State Relays, Micro-switches and Connectors, as well as related
Accessories”,
sold by the Panasonic Electric Works Europe AG do not contain substances in concentrations above the maximum
concentration values allowed in the directives no. 2002/95/EC, 2011/65/EC and 2000/53/EC (ELV), unless explicitly
noted. More obligations required by the guidelines listed above are met, in as long as they apply to the product.
From 22. July 2019 new substances will be restricted by ROHS (through 2015/863/EG):
- Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalat (DEHP) (0,1 %),
- Butylbenzylphthalat (BBP) (0,1 %),
- Dibutylphthalat (DBP) (0,1 %) and
- Diisobutylphthalat (DIBP) (0,1 %)
We are already monitoring these substances pursuant to Art. 33 EU-Regulation No. 1907/2006 (REACH).
In case that our products are affected by these new restrictions we will implement appropriate measures at an early
stage to ensure compliance with this regulation before 22. July 2019.
This given information is based on our best knowledge and complies with the current state-of-the-art.
Our statements however are not legally binding.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
With best regards,
Panasonic Electric Works Europe AG
