MULTI AIR CONDITIONER SYSTEM DEFINITION Multi air conditioner systems save space by letting you connect multiple indoor units to a single outdoor unit. INDOOR UNIT • It is possible to operate the indoor units individually or simultaneously. The operation mode priority is given to the first unit that turned on. • During operation, heating and cooling mode could not be activated at the same time for different indoor unit.
CAUTION • Switch off the power supply before cleaning. • Do not touch the aluminium fin, sharp parts may cause injury. TO SELECT FAN SPEED (5 OPTIONS) FAN SPEED • For AUTO, the indoor fan speed is automatically adjusted according to the operation mode. 5 TO ADJUST AIRFLOW DIRECTION AIR SWING – AUTO • The vertical airflow louver swings up and down automatically. • In heat mode, the air blows horizontally for a while, then starts to blow downwards. AIR SWING – MANUAL • The airflow direction can be adjusted as desired by using remote control. • Do not adjust the vertical airflow direction louvers by hand.
TROUBLESHOOTING The following symptoms do not indicate malfunction. SYMPTOM Mist emerges from indoor unit. Water flowing sound during operation. The room has a peculiar odour. Indoor fan stops occasionally during automatic fan speed setting. Airflow continues even after operation has stopped. CAUSE ► • Condensation effect due to cooling process. ► • Refrigerant flow inside the unit. ► • This may be due to damp smell emitted by the wall, carpet, furniture or clothing.
Use remote control to retrieve error code. L’ambiente ha un odore particolare. La ventola interna si arresta di tanto in tanto quando si imposta la modalità di regolazione automatica della velocità della ventola. Il flusso continua anche dopo l’interruzione del funzionamento. L’operazione è ritardata di qualche minuto dopo il riavvio. Dall’unità esterna fuoriesce acqua/vapore.
L’unità si ferma e l’indicatore del timer lampeggia. Usare il telecomando per vedere il codice di errore.
