10. Using Menu Functions
The LED light comes on while recording motion pictures.
To use a simple light
If you set to [ON], and press and hold down 1 (‰) on the
recording standby screen, the LED light will come on for
approximately 60 seconds. The LED light can be
conveniently used as a simple light when you wish to
illuminate your immediate surroundings in a dark location.
To turn off the light at any time, press [MENU/SET].
[LED Light]
• Maximum illuminating range of the LED light is 0.5 m (1.6 feet).
• The life of battery will decrease when the LED light is turned on constantly.
• In locations where the use of light is prohibited, set to [OFF].
• It is fixed to [OFF] in the following cases.
– Underwater Mode
– Panorama Shot Mode
[Economy]
[Auto Power Off]
The camera is automatically turned off if the camera has not been used
for the time selected on the setting.
[Auto Power
Off(Wi-Fi)]
The camera is automatically turned off if it is not connected to a Wi-Fi
network and has not been used for 15 minutes (approx.).
[Auto LVF/Monitor
Off]
The monitor/viewfinder is automatically turned off if the camera has not
been used for the time selected on the setting.
• Press any button to turn the monitor/viewfinder on again.
• [Economy] does not work in the following cases.
– When connecting to a PC or a printer
– When recording or playing back motion pictures
– During a slide show
– When recording with [ ] ([4K Pre-Burst]) of the 4K Photo function
– When using [Time Lapse Shot]
