4. Focus, Brightness (Exposure) and Color tone Settings
Exposure Compensation
Applicable modes:
Use this function when you cannot achieve appropriate exposure due to the difference in
brightness between the subject and the background.

Press [ ].

Rotate the front/rear dial or the control dial to
compensate the exposure.
A Exposure Compensation
• In the [Custom] ([Operation]) menu, [Exposure Comp.
Disp. Setting], you can change the functions to be set on
the exposure compensation screen. (P46)

• You can also press the shutter button halfway to set.
