4. Focus, Brightness (Exposure) and Color tone Settings
Applicable modes:
You can move the AF area displayed on the viewfinder by
touching the monitor.
Press the shutter button halfway to determine the focus position.
To return the focus position to the center, press [DISP.] before determining the position.
To specify the person or eye to be brought into focus when the Auto Focus Mode is set to [š],
align any of the AF areas currently indicating human subjects with the desired person or eye.
For any position where a person or eye is not located, an AF area that operates in the same
way as [Ø] will be set.
To cancel the AF area frame when the Auto Focus Mode is set to [š], [ ] or [ ], press
[MENU/SET].
Applicable modes:
Specifying the AF area position with the Touch Pad
> [Custom] > [Operation] > [Touch Settings] > [Touch Pad AF]
[EXACT]
Moves the AF area of the
Viewfinder by touching a
desired position on the Touch
Pad.
[OFFSET]
Moves the AF area of the
viewfinder according to the
distance you drag the touch
pad.
[OFF]
Specifying the AF area position with the Touch Function
> [Custom] > [Operation] > [Touch Settings] > [Touch AF]
[AF] Optimizes the focus for the touched subject.
[AF+AE] Optimizes the focus and brightness for the touched subject.
