Applicable modes:
[MP4 HEVC] and [MOV] have been added to [Rec Format].
Motion picture recording quality available for [MP4 HEVC]/[MOV]
[Rec Format]: [MP4 HEVC]
With [MP4 HEVC], the camera records images that meet a motion picture compression
standard designed to achieve a higher compression rate (HEVC/H.265).
To play back motion pictures recorded in this mode on a device other than this camera, you will
need a playback device that supports HEVC/H.265.
Recording uses Long GOP to compress the images.
Recording is with the AAC audio format.
Sensor output is with the same number of frames as the recording frame rate.
When the following functions are being used, it is not possible to record [MP4 HEVC] motion
pictures:
[High Speed Video]
[4K Live Cropping]
[Filter Settings] is not available when recording [MP4 HEVC] motion pictures.
To record motion pictures to a card, use a card that supports one of the Speed Class ratings
below.

menu

[MP4 HEVC]
This HDR motion picture data format is suitable for playback on TVs and
recorders that support HDR (HLG format).
[MP4 HEVC] is available only in Creative Video Mode.
[Photo Style] is fixed to [Hybrid Log Gamma].
[MOV] This data format is suitable for image editing.
