Upgrade Software Key (DMW-SFU1: optional) is now supported.

Using an Upgrade Software Key to activate the camera enables usage of extended

functions.

[Activate]

[Activate] has been added to the [Setup] menu.

Using an Upgrade Software Key (DMW-SFU1: optional) enables usage of extended

functions for the camera.

• Perform [Export Serial Code] or [Import Activation Code] using the card in the card slot 1.

• After activation, even if [Reset] is selected in the [Setup] menu, re-activation is not required.

• Refer to the installation guide supplied with the Upgrade Software Key (DMW-SFU1: optional)

for details about activation methods.

Upgrade Software Key is now supported, Log recording of motion pictures is

now possible

> [Setup] > [Activate]

[Export Serial Code] Exports the device information of the camera to the card.

[Import Activation Code]

Imports the activation code into the camera to enable extended

functions.

[Activation List]

Displays extended functions which have been enabled for

usage on the camera.

The following describes the extended functions that are made available by the Upgrade

Software Key (DMW-SFU1: optional).
