[V-Log L] has been added to [Photo Style]
Applicable modes:
You can perform Log recording by setting [Photo Style] to [V-Log L]. It allows you to create
images finished with rich gradation through post production editing.
LUTs (Look-Up Tables) can be used for post-production editing. You can download LUT data
from the support site below.

The recording screen and images output via HDMI will appear darker overall.
The ISO sensitivity lower limit is [ISO400].
For the image quality of the [Photo Style], only [Sharpness] and [Noise Reduction] can be
adjusted.
[Highlight Shadow] is fixed to [ ] (Standard).
[i.Dynamic] is fixed to [OFF].
[Luminance Level] is fixed to [0-255] ([0-1023]).
When pictures taken with [V-Log L] are selected with [RAW Processing], the following occurs:
[Photo Style] is fixed to [V-Log L].
[Color Space] in [More settings] is fixed to [sRGB].
[i.Dynamic], [Contrast], [Highlight], [Shadow], and [Saturation] cannot be adjusted.
Menus have been added for display of and output via HDMI of images to which
LUT data is applied
Importing LUT files
Supported LUT data format:
The “.vlt” format, which meets the requirements specified in the “VARICAM 3DLUT
REFERENCE MANUAL Rev.1.0”
File names consisting of up to 8 alphanumeric characters (excluding extension)
Preparations:
Save the LUT data in the card. Save it to the root directory (the first folder that appears when
you access the card on your computer) with the extension “.vlt”.
1 Insert the card containing the LUT data into the card slot 1.
2 Select the menu.
