7. Recording Motion Pictures

Set the functions available only for Creative Video Mode.

You can perform recording suited to an anamorphic lens. Motion pictures in 4K resolution

will be recorded with an aspect ratio of 4:3.

• Use a 2k anamorphic lens that supports an aspect ratio of 4:3 for [Anamorphic(4:3)] recording.

To convert the footage to a cinemascope aspect for playback, corresponding software and

device are required.

• Select [OFF] when using a 1.33k anamorphic lens.

1 Select the recording format that supports [Anamorphic(4:3)].

• Recording with [AVCHD], [MP4] or [MP4 HEVC] is not possible.

2 Select the recording quality.

• Use a card that meets one of the Speed Class ratings below to perform recording.

– For ALL-Intra motion pictures (400 Mbps): Video Speed Class 60 or higher

– For motion pictures in formats other than the above: UHS Speed Class 3
