[HDMI RAW Data Output] has been added to the [Creative Video] menu. The image
quality for the output images is set in [Rec Quality] or [Anamorphic(4:3)].
Getting started:
1 Turn off the camera and the external recorder.
2 Connect the camera and the external recorder with a commercially available HDMI
cable.
• Use a “High Speed HDMI cable” with the HDMI logo.
Cables that do not comply with the HDMI standards will not work.
“High Speed HDMI cable” (Type A–Type A plug, up to 1.5 m (4.9 feet) long)
3 Turn on the camera and the external recorder.

Set the mode dial to [ ].

Select the menu.
• [HDMI RAW] is displayed on the recording screen.

Select the recording quality.

Set the HDMI input on the external recorder.
• When the connection is complete, images will be
displayed on the screen of the external recorder.
