3. Recording Modes

When you switch to [Night Self Shot], settings will change to suit the scene. The settings of the
following items are fixed:
[Drive Mode]: [Single]
[Photo Style]: [Scenery] (Only picture quality adjustments can be made)
[Sensitivity]: [AUTO]
[White Balance]: [AWB] (Only fine adjustments can be made to the White Balance)
[Metering Mode]: [ ] (Multiple)
[Shutter Type]: [EFC]
[Flash Mode] in [Flash]: [ ] ([Forced On/Red-Eye])
[Flash Synchro] in [Flash]: [1ST]
[ISO Limit Set]: [OFF]
[Ex. Tele Conv.]: [OFF]
[Digital Zoom]: [OFF]
The angle of view will be slightly narrower.
A moving subject may be recorded with unnatural blurs.
When a person illuminated by a street light or similar light source is recorded, the resulting
picture may look unnatural.
[Soft Skin], [Filter Select], and [Background Control] will be fixed to [Off]. [Shots] will be fixed
to [ ] (1 picture).
Scene Detection is not available for [Night Self Shot]. (In Intelligent Auto Mode/Intelligent Auto
Plus Mode)
Programme Shift is not available for [Night Self Shot].
Not available in these cases:
[Night Self Shot] is not available when [Silent Mode] is set.
