When you have selected "L1"

You can record audio and video being played on a video cassette

recorder or video camera connected to the input terminals.

Preparation

oConnect the other equipment to this unit's input terminals

(-, page 79).

eSwitch [DVD, TV] to "DVD".

olnsert a disc that can be recorded on.

oSelect the recording mode, XP, SP, LP, or EP (-_ page 26).

While stopped

Press [INPUT SELECT] to select the

input channel for the equipment you

have connected.

Select L1, L2, or L3.

2 Start play on the other equipment, i

3 Press [O, REC] at the point you want

to start recording.

• To skip unwanted parts

Press[I I, PAUSE]to pauserecording.

Pressagainto restartrecording.

• To stop recording

Press [111,STOP].

Stop play on the other equipment as well.

eYou can also select the input channel by pressing _, ^, v,

CH] in step 1.

oThis unit complies with industry standards regarding the recording

and duplication of copy-protected material. This includes commer-

cial videotapes and DVDs. Apart from infringing copyright laws,

copies of protected material are often of very poor quality.
