When playing back SD VIDEO (MPEG4) on HDD or DVD-RAM,

press [ENTER].
ªTo stop dubbing halfway through
Press and hold [RETURN] for 3 or more seconds.
Stopping dubbing in High Speed mode partway through will
cancel the recording and any data recorded up to that point will
be lost. In all other recording modes, if dubbing is stopped
halfway through, the record up to that point will be counted as
one complete programme. (Once you recorded on DVD-R, the
remaining capacity is reduced.)
Note
This function works while the direct navigator, play list screen or
playback list for SD VIDEO (MPEG4) is displayed.
The recording mode is set as follows. (When the remaining
capacity is insufficient, the recording mode is set to FR.)
- When dubbing to DVD-RAM or SD Memory Card, High Speed
mode is activated.
- In the case of dubbing to DVD-R,
- When dubbing a programme recorded with setting “DVD-R
Rec for High Speed mode” (page 53) to “On” or a Play list
created by such programme, High Speed mode is activated.
- When dubbing a programme recorded with setting “DVD-R
Rec for High Speed mode” to “Off”, the recording mode in the
dubbing source is selected. In the case of play list created by
such programme, the recording mode is set to FR.
It is not possible to activate timer recording during dubbing.
Programmes with recording limitations (including play lists made
from that programmes) cannot be dubbed.
ªWhen a SD VIDEO (MPEG4) is recorded on
Panasonic SD Memory Card
Not all of the capacity is available for recording or dubbing
because the copy right information is also included.
Upper approximate time is applicable when recording pictures
with slow motions and bottom one is applicable when recording
pictures with quick motions.
For further information about “SD CARD capacity” and “MPEG4
Rec Mode”, refer to page 53.
ªWhen dubbing programmes to DVD-RAM or
DVD-R (t1–t4) in High Speed mode
Record from the HDD onto a DVD-RAM and DVD-R (k4 speed
disc) quickly.
Recording from the HDD to a DVD-RAM or DVD-R cannot be
used with images for which only single-generation recording is
allowed. When recording these images to a DVD-RAM, the
original image on the HDD is erased.
